Alan and Sandra Skene our Missionaries in Malawi write: The churches around the Blantyre Region arranged a weekend together which took place in the Thyolo mountains. Lorries and mini-buses managed to get through the rocky track to the open ground among the villages for the services. With the theme of ‘Believers are married to Christ’ – A lot took place! On the Saturday afternoon there was a deliverance service where many were ministered to. The result was amazing as God truly blessed and 86 first time decisions to follow Jesus were made! Wonderful! One man who responded was a Moslem. Also 44 people rededicated their lives on the Saturday. On the Sunday a number of gave testimonies of healing that had taken place during the weekend. It was great to be able to preach on the Sunday as this memorable weekend came to a conclusion. Our work in the area has been tough over the last few years and so we are believing that this is a new beginning of great things for God’s work there!

At the beginning of the month we had the Bible College graduation ceremony for one of our newly ordained pastors, Joe Malangasa. It was inspiring to see the result of 2 years hard work and study be recognised and for Pastor Joe to get his diploma. All 11 students did great and now the College looks to find the next group to begin this January. Please pray that we will also have wisdom regarding the resources/candidates needed for this important aspect of our training ministry.
