Civil War Crisis

Actionoverseas Board members, Andrew Jenkins and Brian Campbell, have recently returned from a ministry visit to the Apostolic churches in Sri Lanka. Pastor Jenkins wrote from Sri Lanka, ‘The war between the Tamil Tigers and the Government is in the latter stages. Many of our young people who were forced to join the Tamil Tigers or face the execution of another family member are still trapped in the conflict. Many civilians, amongst whom there are considerable numbers of Apostolics in the north of the island are displaced from their homes. There are massive humanitarian needs in the war affected areas that our Sri Lankan churches face.
