ActionOverseas have just returned from a productive trip to Vietnam.
During our time in Vietnam a visit was made to the Mekong Delta area where encouragement was brought to two church congregations. As we have mentioned before in a previous Snippets, Vietnamese Christians suffer for their faith under a communist government who make life difficult for Christians, especially those who live outside of Ho Chi Minh City or the capital Hanoi.
The purpose of the visit was to talk about church planting and other leadership strategies with the pastors and leaders who are part of the Apostolic Church. Sunday was especially special when five young people were baptised in a hotel swimming pool after the morning service. It was a privilege to be part of this service as these young people made a public declaration of their faith.
Please continue to pray for your brothers and sisters in the nation of Vietnam.
