We are so thankful for a wonderful weekend as we had our Anniversary Convention and celebrated 30 years since the Apostolic Church was registered in Malawi. People travelled from all over the country in lorries, motorbikes and any other means to represent their branches at Lunzu near Blantyre. We hired the community hall but conducted the services outdoors.
The theme was ‘going forward in the season of change’ and a great emphasis was made regarding the church taking a forward step in our mission to see many souls won for Jesus in Malawi. Pastor Tim Jack flew in as the main speaker and there was a great response to his preaching and many people were ministered to in every service.
The history of the church was presented and a new team ministry structure for the leadership was explained. It was so exciting to hear and see the response of everyone to our renewed vision to see the church grow.
As we all headed back to our homes there was such a sense of God’s presence and joy at all that had happened over the three days. Even the local police were impressed and spoke well of what they had seen. Please pray as now much work is required by the teams.
Malawi faces many challenges in these days and we know that through prayer all things are possible.
